Unusual Days 20130823

As always, it'd be too easy saying many things have changed. But what I will say is, I've made a decision to face challenges again. BIG challenges. I have learnt much from the place I'm in now.

In my absence from dA, I have experienced Dota 2's The International. Much bigger and grander than last year's, coupled with the official release status, it has brought in more than a million players and interested gamers. The Malaysian Orange Esports team got third place, beating signature Chinese teams, an achievement like none other. Our Sports Minister even joined in and gave some legitimacy to the whole Dota thing. How times have changed!

Like real journeys, sometimes you just got to sit and rest on the roadside, looking back on how far you've traveled. What you've done, when you've gone to. Just as history teaches us things, our own past steps in our journey also reveal answers.

It's telling me to move on and be better.

So anyways, I may consider being active on dA and Tumblr again, but more importantly I need to do things a real craftsman: produce good results. Tomorrow's Animangaki 2013, one of the local hip anime-games-comics conventions, and I'll be spending my weekends there.
